now you're gonna hear about it
Is there not already a thread for this discussion? If so I've missed it.

I think Cardiff and Fulham are sunk, but I can't figure out the remaining team. Sunderland have been woeful, but they have +3 games in hand and can easily ride a lucky strike into the next league. West Ham and Hull appear to have too many points to fall into relegation (ok form as well). Swansea I think will squeak by. I can't sort out which of Norwich, West Brom, or Palace is most likely to fall.

Who will be relegated?

The current bottom 3 will go down in their current positions

West Brom look awful. Palace show signs of sparking into life every now and then which might just save them.

Sunderland does have a tough run of fixtures:

@Liverpool
@Spurs
Everton
@City
@Chelsea
@United

They'll be lucky to grab 2 points from these 6. The "easy" games will be:

@Norwich
West Ham
Cardiff
West Brom
Swansea

Not sure how many points they would need to escape, but they'll have the chance

West Brom or Swansea deserve to go down for the way they sacked their managers.

I quite like Norwich for some reason and hope they stay up

reckon fulham will escape personally. Well there is a chance they will anyway. Combine a sunderland/west brom/palace/cardiff freefalla dn fulham picking up the wins here and there could see them close the gap easy.

I know, can't think of a logical reason. It's just a lot of times out of nowhere someone surprisingly drops dramatically into trouble and they are only 9 points above.

Wouldn't complain if it were the Hammers*. Not that I don't like them, but I'm a bit envious of that new stadium they're getting.

*Don't think they have a chance of going down though.

what are hull doing in 13th? thought they were 10th.

it's between the bottom 6, 5 pts seperating.

norwich won't go down because i hate them, but i bet on them to go down every year and this year i haven't bothered. i hope fulham turn it around so i win a tenner. put £30 on palace when they seemed doomed and they do seem to be losing a few now. never thought cardiff would go down myself, but they're terrible and will go down. swansea could be that unlikely team sucked into it, but have a squad way too good to go down imo and actually have a goalscorer unlike the others.
WBA are in trouble but think they may just stay up, sunderland's fixtures look gastly but they're capable of anything

20. Cardiff, 19. Sland and 18. Palace imo

Hull - Too good to go down for me, they've got a decent set of fixtures, and the momentum of a good cup run.
Sunderland - I feel should do enough to stay up, but, Cup Hangover? Wasn't a convincing performance against Palace at the weekend, have winnable home games, but away games? Liverpool, Chelsea, City, United and Spurs? well could take it's toll.
Cardiff - Played well against us, well the goalkeeper did anyway, unlucky to be in that side. They'll go i think, and Tan can look back, and think what an idiot he is. More games played than any other rivals bar Fulhamand Norwich, i think they've gone.
Swansea - They're just gonna be another Fulham for me tbh, they don't do anything, except have a cup run once in a while, and are a team no one cares about, i'd be happy for them to go.
West Brom - I said at the time, that firing Clarke and appointing Mel was a risk, Mel has failed in everyjob he's been in, for him to learn a language, adapt to Premier League/English football, and try and learn his best team, 10 weeks for your first win? Poor really, will stay up due to other teams being worse than them.
Palace - They're alright. Very hit and miss, but can do well on their day. The problem for Palace is City, Chelsea and Liverpool as 3 of their last 4 home games. I think they could go unless they spring a few surprises. Newcastle, Cardiff and Fulham away are key for them, anything else is a big bonus.
Norwich - Well, everyone tipped them at the start of the year, and i couldn't believe it. On Paper they have an alright team, but clearly something isn't right. They took the plunge and spent on Van Wolfwinkel, and it didn't work, but they take points off us frequently, and RS get 6pts, and 15 goals in the process each season, of all the teams i'd like to see them go, if not for the aforementioned reasons, for the £55 ticket prices, who are they kidding?
Fulham - Have the easiest set of fixtures remaining for me, but 3 managers in one season, messes with morale, they can't possibly escape, they've played 3 games more than Sunderland, and beating an out of form Newcastle is hardly anything to get carried away with. Us, Norwich, Hull and Palace at home are crucial. They could survive really.

There you go. Barneygumble breakdown on relegation.
For what it's worth. I want Fulham, Norwich and WBA to go.

:O

to be fair they won a trophy in their second season. better than what we've achieved in two decades - sadly, not really doing nothing - even though you did only mean in the league

True. I'm not knocking it, after all Fulham made the europa league, and have had moderate success in the league, but really Fulham have been in the league now for 13 years? And they haven't really threatened for consistently pushing for Europe, or CL, and rarely end in a relegation scrap, they just plod along, and whilst Swansea have better supporters than Fulham, they're just a team where when we play them at home i think... 'Christ, do i have to go?' :lol:
