It would be absolutely hilarious , Honestly to quote their former ridiculous manager "I would love if"

8 year contract for Pardew.. FFS.. It would be beyond hilarious Sheeds...
I can really see those French lads fancying Doncaster away next season as well !!

I can't stand the bloke but never mind other fans I actually think his fellow pro's feel the same , as for the Geordie fans I could stand them when they were crap but they seem to feel they've a position above where they are . After the RS it's the Geordies for me and the nouveau riche mikey Carroll lottery winning tramps at city are up there to.

The whole of the country - aside from a handful of relegation-threatened teams - is routing for Wigan tomorrow.

Come on lads, get a few and get your goal difference up too.

A win of any kind takes them up to 16th with at least two goals difference better off than Newcastle. I do fear for Norwich, though. They're going to get absolutely roasted away to City on the final day, and are currently only one goal better off than Newcastle, who play Arsenal home final day. Norwich are gonna go down on GD, aren't they? :(

Wigan - 35 points and -22 GD: Swansea (h), Arsenal (a), Villa (h)
Norwich: 38 points and -22 GD: WBA (h), City (a)
Newcastle: 38 points and -23 GD: QPR (a), Arsenal (h)
Sunderland: 38 points and -12 GD: Southampton (h), Spurs (a)

Southampton are on 39 and with at least +10 on all of the above's GD, so basically two points ahead, you'd fancy them to just need one point to make it a two-point gap meaning three points if you factor in GD.

So hope the Mags drop.

If only they could relegate 4 or 5 teams instead. Some absolute dross in the league this season.

Despite all the stick we give Wigan and their fans, i really hope they stay up.

Easy away game, i like their manager, and they play decent football despite being crap and nearly getting relegated for it.

Hope Swansea just lay down and die for them tomorrow. Would love Newcastle to go down as well, but unfortunately i can see Norwich getting nothing from their two games.

Fair point, they're alright to watch, remind me of footy from the 90s.

If you could choose who would go down, you'd take Norwich, Stoke, Sunderland, Newcastle, Aston Villa plus QPR and Reading, all horrible teams in my opinion.

Desperate for Norwich to muster together one final win

That'd surely mean it's pretty much down to Wigan or Newcastle.

Put it this way, if at the start of the season you'd have said Newcastle will be going into the final game needing to defeat Arsenal to avoid the drop I'd have pissed myself laughing and said "in your dreams!"

Loving the prospect of them going down. Different league and all that..

Fantasy: Newcastle are relegated and we swipe Sissoko and Cabaye.
Reality: Newcastle are relegated and we swipe some LM from Wrexham.

I'm blaming that Wigan defeat on that James Mcarthur fella, he had an absolute nightmare in the second half. Possibly single handedly got them relegated the cart.

Honestly, he played like Hibbert in the fa cup final, as if he was drunk. Couldn't find a team mate, kept making the wrong decision, then his poor passing led to the wave of pressure which led to the third goal. Friggin [Poor language removed].
