Adam, Ba, or Parker.

Don't really need Scott Dann right now, unless Yobo is sold on a permanent deal and Heitinga is sold as well.

I'd still be concerned about Ba's fitness. West Ham went where Stoke feared to tread because they were desperate. He still wouldn't be cheap, so I think it would be too much of a gamble for us.

I think Parker is too old and there will be plenty of clubs in front of us in the queue for Adam.

Yobo is definitely going. I hope that we sell Heitinga too. Dann would be a great signing, but he wouldn't come cheap. Could we afford to have him as a bench warmer? I'm thinking we might go for Evans or Bassong on loan as cover instead.

wasn't exactly news that you'd have to be sourced up to discover, it was on ssn earlier as well as Charlie Adam signing a one year extension to his contract

So he hasn't actually signed a new contract then?

Parker, Ba, Dann, Johnson, Adam, Taylor-Fletcher. However I also suggest Nikola Zigic. I think he'd suit us quite well somehow...

No, club just exercises their option to actually not making him a free agent now, it was a formality, but without this clause in Adam's contract, he would be a Bossman this summer, not next.

I don't think he was mentioned here, but I would consider Liam Ridgewell as Baines back up. He is a totally different kind of player than Baines and he can play as LCB as well. It will take at least two years until Garbutt or Bidwell will be ready to step up, I would gladly take him if money would be reasonable.

Unfortunately, Adam and Parker will be off for big money; I'd envisage Liverpool & Tottenham. Can see Johnson and Dann staying put at Blues for one more season, but some shrewd manager should try to pick them both up. Again...probably out of our price range.

Interestingly no-one took Seb Larsson on for peanuts in the January window. He's out of contract now and Birmingham would have let him go for £500k or thereabouts. I rate him highly; technically good, excellent delivery and a work ethic which would please Moyes.

Same goes for David Vaughan. Out of contract and very much the unsung hero of the Blackpool side. He did all of the donkey work which allowed Adam to create and score the goals. Did the same role Parker did at West Ham with half the plaudits.

The others I'd look at are : Jack Collison (injured much of this season, potentially a great player though) and Matt Phillips (he'll be cheap, he's not the finished article, but he's lightning and full of potential)

Adam is a good player, but we don't need anymore central midfielders...Vaughan is slow and would be hopelessly out of his depth at everton imo...he is not the type of player to get us up into the european places. Campbell is not a premier league player. I might take larsson on a free, but he would be a gamble. Demba Ba might be useful...better than anichebe anyway

to be honest i wouldn't be keen on any of them. I would rather us take kranjer from spurs and take a striker from somewhere (dunno where)....saviola is available!

Thats a good shout actually.
