Hi, sure like I've said I'm no expert, i'm not a religious person, I've only ever been forced to go to church once or twice, I've had one mediation class I've read one and a half books from Eckhart Tolle and watched some youtude, so i am in no way an expert and as i said in the other post, the realization hit hard, i knew i was suffring, i knew my mind, my "ego", was always pulling from past to future and nothing but worry and stress, and i cant really explain it, it stopped as soon as i hear the words, from Eckhart Tolle, "it is how it is" meaning life is how its supposed to be. I'm not say this as the same effect on everybody and I had known this for many years already, but from some reason it just sank in. like water tension as you slowly push your hand into water, the water rushes over your hand after a certain time.
I'm not unwilling to discount anything, who am i to do that, and i would never, its totally disrespectful, and i'm very sorry if thats how it reads, i mean no harm or disrespect to you or anybody that suffers. The words i write dont come from books, or recited from texted, there are similarities towards what other have written or spoke of, but i only write that which come into my mind, i dont prepare anything, how can i know what somebody is going to say?
you know a lot more about the mind and how it works than i will ever know, all i am doing (maybe doing) is giving you more option to try, that and trying to help. I'm not telling you, "you must listen to me, for i know best" that would be silly and very arrogant. I'm only pointing towards ways that may (or may not) help.
It would give no greater enjoy than to see people no longer suffer, the world would be much greater place.
the only thing i ask is that you dont totally discount what has been said, there can be no harm in trying.
EeKheart Tolle says in one of his books or youtubes (i forget which), that you can read (and/or dedicate your life) to reading (religion), but the answer will still deluded, until you have the realization, no book can tell you, no person can tell you, its only down to you.
If there is any way in which i can help you, i will try my best, even if you wanna come to Thailand and just chill and chat you'd be more then welcome, i have some free room at my condo, but it depend how good you are at FIFA and if you like VDO games HAHAHA.
but seriously, i hope someday you are able to finial beat this.
I'd just like to say that the Eckhart Tolle books are a good read if nothing else, his points on religion, view of life etc.. and he's a funny guy too, or maybe its just my strange humor Hummm, hahaha
Again, sorry if i coursed any offense.
Barry.

Barry, no offence taken mate. You have your views and I have mine, that's what this forum is all about. Unfortunately the advice that you offer is far too " Zen " for me, so I,m going to have to sit this one out. Please keep posting, just because it's not for me, doesn't mean that others won't benefit. Cheers .
