Unfortunately the young kid and his family had pressure from outside influences - many different agents and people outside football have been in contact with him.

"And an ex-employee from here got in touch with his family advising him to play somewhere else. He was tapped up all over the place.

"It has been a very hard time but luckily he has got such a strong family and they can see our values."

Judging from those quotes, we're not the one's who were tapping him up. Good to know we made a written bid, though. He's some player.
