Clearly Blatter and FIFA believe this is all part of the game to be settled by handshakes afterwards.

Fortunately like the UK in WW2 resisting the Nazis, our brave English FA have stood firm and alone against this peversion, albeit the sentence is light.

Should Merseyside through Everton FC now lead the rest of the Country in showing that racism is deplorable and cannot be tolerated whatsoever by refusing to take part in matches against teams containing such players ?

I'm outraged you feel that way. Merseyside has always been a bastion of Socialism. Why should we tolerate nazi/fascist sympathisers flying into our city every fortnight or so to support their franchise ?
