My brother is a soccer player and fan, and leans toward Arsenal, but not strongly. His wife is 7 months pregnant. About a month ago I ordered the Everton baby kits (and rubber ducky) for him from the everton online store.
Finally showed up and I gave it to them this last week. I'm going to start the kid off right if he's going to be family.
I told him it was every bit as much a self-serving gift as it was a generous one. Sometimes you have to do a preemptive strike, especially over here in the states when the only games and kits readily available are for ManU, Chelsea, Arsenal, and the ****e.
They thought the gifts were great. My brother has them hanging up on the wall as artwork/discussion pieces now. I can feel the whole family starting to lean blue and I love it...
