This business of trying to shift the goalposts on revenue they cant self generate in a million years without the blessing of United, and their banking on the European Fairplay rules being strctly implimented = tells you all you need to know about the state they've got themselves into by picking a succession of shite managers and wasting a kings ransom on average players over the past decade and more.

The squeeze is on for Liverpool. I'd expect them to unravel even more over the next couple of years if, as seems likely, they fail to get their noses in the CL trough.
