live in brighton and they did an opening of an extreme sports event today!

they are fooking great no matter how old or young you are they are just ace!

they used to be here every summer till one of them hit a boat about 9 years ago so it was there first time back!

my kids where aloud to watch it from there school playground which is on top of a big hill near the seafront and its all they can talk about now!!

i managed to get a bit in from work!

they are just a class act!

I had the red arrows go over last thursday for a Battle Of Britain show, makes the dog next door go mental. (n)

Pah, Red Arrows. They train over Welton so I see them on pretty much a daily basis over the summer

I think they're great to watch live, but been years since I last saw them.
I used to look after the north of England for a company and regularly found myself on the M6 in the Lake District area. I was driving south with not much on the road one day, so in a world of my own when a Jet flew past probably not more than 100m away on low flying practise. I swear to God I nearly had a heart attack. It took ages for me to calm down again lol.

a mate of mine was in the raf and used to plan the routes for them. they were heading to southport and it was his mums birthday, so he asked the commander if a little diversion was possible ? "thats your job lad, you plan the routes and times..thats all i need to know".

rang his arl fella and said make sure you're in the pub beer garden at x'o'clock.
sent them directly over the pub beer garden in formation as low as legally possible for a treat for her.
