Jamo Martinez

Player Valuation: £70m
Real Sociedad v Malaga

Kick off - 3.00pm Saturday 6 April 2013

Interesting looking game between two teams who play some really nice football. 4th v 5th with just a point between them.

Have to put La Real as slight favourites due to home advantage. Malaga will feel the exertion of a hard fought draw on Wednesday against Dortmund as they don't have the biggest squad.

Player to watch - Everyone knows about Isco at Malaga and in La Real, Carlos Vela is known from his Arsenal days (top scorer with 11). My personal favourite is Antoine Griezmann, But to choose one even further under the radar I'd like to mention David Zurutuza. Technically very tidy. Keeps the play moving in a Darron Gibson kind of way. Like Gibson he is a little injury prone but he's the type of player I like to watch.

Real Sociedad are traditional rivals of Athletic Bilbao who are my second team. However I've actually got a soft spot for La Real

Warning: The name of Phillipe Montanier may start to appear on the forum as a possible substitute for Moyes if you watch this team.

I'll be watching this on a stream. No idea if it will be televised in England.

I was just looking through the fixture list for today as we don't have a match. Plenty of people who follow international football on here and know far more than me will be aware of this match (and others). But as I said, these 2 teams are good to watch and they're fighting for that last CL spot so it should be interesting.

It's a good call, Frankfurt vs Bayern is another tasty looking game although expect Bayern to win.
I will be watching that as well as the Grand National - backed cappa bleu ;-)

To be honest the second half was a bit dull. Needed a second goal by Malaga before that 4th went in. La Real have played much better than that but at this stage of the season you're looking at results and in that sense can't fault them. Hope they seal the 4th spot. Got nothing against Malaga but they've had the benefit of money more than Real Sociedad.
