Not sure why it's titled as 'Eric Clapton' as it was Marcus Miller and Steve Gadd who set up the group

Regardless, some nice and easy listening

I've always loved this, the DVD is well worth checking out
 
Coltrane playing one of his long meanderingly versions of "Favourite Things" - absolute perfection
He really liked that number! To me, that's what jazz is about - taking a basic tune, pulling it all ways and exploring the various strands that emerge. Every time Coltrane played that number you got new elements coming through. I'd like to have heard his version of all the Sound of Music tracks!

Charles Mingus' version of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is pretty special.
