Recent and New posts

Help me out here GOT. I use the Recent and New posts all the time here as opposed to going into each forum and working my way through any unread posts, but some of my fellow mods do the latter.

Obviously either way is fine but I've attached a poll and, depending on the outcome, may recruit members to my new, shiny New/Recent posts users clique.

No pressure, but lets get this one right please
