I think they are dying to get rid of him but are reluctant to do it till they know we are safe. From their point of view, if they sacked him now and then it went tits up (even more tits up than now) and we didn't win another game and went on to get relegated it would be absolutely catastrophic for the Club and their decision would haunt them for a long time to come. Having said that, it would seem likely that a loss this Saturday would probably leave them with no choice but to act. He could be gone pretty soon either way the way its looking. Lets hope so anyway. Will feel like winning a trophy when he is sacked, at least to me it will anyway. :D

Cos the board would be in danger of looking like they don't know what they're doing if they sacked another manager on a big pay off. I doubt he'll go before the end of the season.
