Hi, I've never been to Madrid and I'm thinking of going. I want to take in a R.Madrid match (crappy one). Just wondered if anyone here has ever gone and how they got tickets.

I'm not going through the internet ticket sites as they're a rip off. Basically, I went to Barca vs Real a few years back and managed to get tickets outside the Nou camp (official - not from touts), so I guess its similar to Madrid.

Are they easy to get out there, and where do you buy them?
Cheers

Hi. I went to Madrid two years ago. I bought ticket outside the Bernabéu for Levante match. You can buy tickets outside the stadium.

my dad went when becks and co was there he paid 36 euro for his ticket and 4 rows from the pitch

Amazing when you think of it. You can go and watch Barca for £10, no wonder they 90,000 a match. I went to see a non league team a few years back in the 2nd round of the fa cup and they charged a tenner! There is something wrong in this country is there not?

Ha! I think maybe!!
I was shocked when I queued for the Barca vs Real tickets, the staff said prices ranged from £15 to £70. Couldn't believe it. To watch the biggest game on earth with Ronaldo, Zidane, etc.

Although I suppose its good that the Premiership now seems to be the best league and as such the best players want to come here.

Nice, when is it?

Enjoy it dude, you'll probably notice how different the atmosphere is for the game straight away, compared to a Premiership one. If you don't see people eating out of a hamper on a plate with knives and forks, with a bottle of wine and a baguette, then some things wrong.
