Aww...are Everton going to ruin Christmas again?

Me: Can we win a few games this festive season?

Me: What about making an effort and giving something to cheer about after Christmas?

Sorry, i think its going to be tough. Many factors working against our manager ,footy team, squad, club.
A fair bit self inflicted by manager and players.
Now the possibility Frank might be offered the England job??
But its a game of footy at Goodison so two games we might win.??

There is no playbook that says what clubs should do with a long break for some players while other squad members have been at the World Cup. Even seasons that suffered from the weather, such as 1963, can hardly be used as examples because in those situations all the players were together and preparing for games that might happen.

I'm struggling to follow here mate.

We did two weeks training, 2 weeks break, then 2 weeks training. So about 4 weeks training. Other teams took a break earlier and did 4/5 weeks training. I've got no idea what impact the timing of a break has, especially with large number of the squad unavailable.
Didn't we play an ODI series while we were in Australia?
