I am looking for recommendations on best razors for men, as the previous ones I normally buy which are twin blade disposables just are not cutting it. I do have a non-disposable stainless steel with safety blades, but it is not often I use that one.

I have not tried a Gillette Mach 3 or Gillette Fusion, so I am possibly tinking of going this route, but I also hear good things about Wilkinson as well.

I would like to hear opinions of those on here and any advice or where to get good deals.

Shave on.

I use a Philips OneBlade. Best razor I’ve found. You can pick up the basic kit with three different sized guards for like £30. Blades last up to 4 months but I guess depends how often you shave.

Can't really go wrong with a mach 3 or fusion tbh. Not too expensive and a clean shave.

Or you can always opt for one of these

It's up to you mate.

I just rip my hairs out of my face like a big manly man.

I also have a monthly subscription with the dollar shave club, makes things so easy as I would often forget to buy razors otherwise and then chop half my face off with one past its usability.

Also leaves a few spare razors which are handy for tending to the more... tender areas that you may need to shave.

My wife bought me one of these and it's good and you can get replacement blades (different variety) from usually around £5 to £9 for ten - less than big brands.

Amazon product ASIN B00JGSPWQO
Defo get a safety razor. So much cheaper, better quality shave and the blades last way longer than the one shave you get from a cartridge razor. I buy a pack of 100 astra blades off Amazon for a tenner and won't need to buy more for about 10 years.

I grew a beard to distract from my balding head, but before that I used a Gillette Mach 3 for sensitive skin and it was fine.

Agree the Philips One Blade is a fantastic tool. Works great for beard detailing and trimming, plus clearing away hairs on my neck and shoulders.

I use a corded Wahl trimmer with the guards on for everything else. I don’t shave completely but I don’t let it grow wild… I would look like a gorilla if I did that.

Used to only get a shave at the barbers but lockdown made me invest in one of those electric gillette fusion razors with the disposable heads.

Decent but only for a clean shave.

Harrys and Dollar Club are still very pricey despite their pretensions otherwise. As others have said get a DE safety razor and a box of 100 blades and you'll be able to use a fresh blade every single shave and still not come close to the money you spend on Dollar Club or Harrys.

Don't even have to spend much on the razor itself. There are plenty of cheap DE razors available online or you can even get a vintage Gillette anywhere from the 1910s right through to the 1970/80s and they'll work with modern DE blades.

Bit of a learning curve if you've never used one but absolutely blows the marketing myth of needing multiple blades to have a shave.
