Spoke to him for a short time about 10 years ago at a Hall of Fame 'Do' at the Adelphi. Great player, great Everton player, hero, World Cup winner, gentleman!

Glad he's still going, and the disease is slow with him.
One of my best mates was diagnosed with it 3 years ago. He died of it last Friday after being hospitalised for the last month. Horrible, horrible disease. He used to he sharp as a tack, in our quiz team.

...if I remember a few things rightly; he actually played in 1962 World Cup Finals; he was at Huddersfield with Dennis Law when Bill Shankly was manager; he was a converted winger.

Great footballer.

Great footballer.
