Admits to being an alcoholic, brave - it raises with me my anger at the taxing of this, what is essentially a drug. Alcohol and nicotine - imagine if these where sold as class a drugs.

Good luck Ray, and all those battling his god awful illness

Former England footballer Ray Wilkins has been given a 10-week suspended jail sentence for drinking and driving.
Wilkins, who pleaded guilty, was seen in his Mercedes in the middle of a bus lane on the A4 in London on 1 July.
Uxbridge Magistrates' Court heard he also struck a kerb and was seen drinking alcohol from a bottle while driving, before attempting a U-turn.
Wilkins, 59, who told the court he was an alcoholic, was nearly three times over the legal limit.

Just read this. Always a different story behind a addict. Some are just pathetic, some have real reasons to become addicted.

Don't know him so will refrain from judging him and wish him well.

it is, but making it illegal won't solve it, and will just create more problems, more responsible advertising that is enforced on the tobacco industry could help
No - I didn't say make it illegal. It's the widespread profiteering from it that makes me uneasy. As do the cancer profits from tobacco industry.
