His favorite word in matches is "majesterial."

On a side note, he hosts The Football Show on Sirius XM/FC ch 94 from 6-8am EST with Neil Barnett or Charlie Stillitano. He gives predictions on Premier League matches and earlier in the season, I called in a few times to bust his chops about his Everton predictions. Follow him on Twitter too.

I cannot stand the Geordie tosser. He's the Ian Holloway of football commentary.

He is a bit like Sid Waddell...... actually he is the footie equivalent of Sid Waddell.

He is clearly very very passionate about the game and is totally transfixed on the game he is watching. Lots of oohs and aahhs but he knows his stuff. I personally find the quotes funny and like others have said, it certainly beats having Niall Quinn or Owen as the co-commentators.
