See that's my point they have the quality and should advance further than the second round.

Ask any Mexican fan and they will tell you how disappointed they are with their national team. A lot of the guys i work with who are avid fans say they just don't cut it.

I'm not sure they actually do have the quality and Mexicans might be the most irrational fans in the world when it comes to their national team. The only two times they reached the quarterfinals of the World Cup were when they hosted the tournament. They power cycle their managers and that doesn't help, but surely one of them would have had success if the players were good enough.

That said, I have no idea if Jimenez is good enough for Everton but generally if Koeman wants a player I think it's pretty sound.
