6.

I'm pleased with the quality of the signings that we brought in. Not bringing in an adequate replacement for Lukaku will really hurt us this season. We'll be fine but with a quality striker I feel this season could've been something really special (I still hope somehow it turns out to be).

I'm wasn't that surprised in the end that we didn't get a quality centre forward in, as the weeks went by I could see it happening. Given that the manager stated repeatedly what he felt we still needed over a number of weeks, our failure to do so will inevitably leave fans with questions about the board.

6/10 Happy with the players we brought in, Pickford, Keane think Klaasen just needs some time, Sandro for the money seems ok. Disappointed we didn't get a no9. Is this season gonna be Davek's Popgun apocalypse?

Loads of clubs failed to get players in for positions they were weak in. Clubs with more money and pull than us. I'm pretty happy all told, we're a better squad than last year.

People seem to be forgetting this, to listen to some who think 7th is best we can do you would think they all went out and had great windows, Arsenal have had a nightmare, Liverpool havent really sorted the problems they have, just bought more players to playin the slots they are strong in anyway, City im not convinved on no matter how much they blow, United have done great.
We got 9 players and all of them seem good buys while we lost one player.

Chelsea and arsenal seemed to miss out loads. Not that I'm suggesting we can catch Chelsea but something clearly isn't right there. Arsenal I think we can finish above this season and Tottenham have won 2 in 12 at Wembley so hopefully the bad times keep coming for them. Okay we haven't got a top class striker ATM and might even have to watch boring 1-0 wins but I would rather have 38 1-0 wins and win the league (which obviously won't happen) then lose every week its winning that matters couldn't care less how it's done as long as we win

Could have been a 9 or 10 out of 10 but the lack of a left sided defender ( Barry should never have been sold as he can sit deep when required on the left hand side ), lack of cover for Baines and of course a lack of a focal point up top means I give this window a 6 rating.
