8 Lennon -- surprised me greatly, would love to see him come back
7 Lukaku -- has a very high ceiling and very high expectations; he has lots left to learn, but 20 goals next year and there won't be many more complaints
6 Barry -- felt like he featured too much, but he was often very good (and too often terrible); hopefully he doesn't feature in next year's squad
5 Besic -- looks like he could do very well, but his time is in the future; too similar to what we currently have
4 Eto'o -- polished turd
3 Atsu -- no chances, no chances taken

(nothing intentional in the numbers, that's just how it happened)

Lukaku - 8 - 20 goals this season. Just 22. Forget the price tag as it's irrelevant - we'll sell him at a profit whatever. Would have bagged more if given half-decent service for most of the season.

Barry - 5 - Really poor for the first half of the season - has improved since Feb. Would still have him starting in games where we play on the break and he has to be the 'destructive' player. But from now on, if Gibbo is fit, in games we should be controlling then Gibson should replace him for me.

Eto'o - 5 - Looked brilliant at first. Gutted dir never worked out and looks like he and Distin may have caused some unrest. Was good to have a formerly world-class player for a few months like.

Besic - 6 - Has shown good potential, but at times too much onus was put on him to be the creative force in midfield - he's best position is the holding one.

Atsu - 4- Yeh, pretty crap. Just not strong enough for the Prem.

Lennon - 7 - Done really well since coming in, proved a lot (including me) wrong. Hope he signs but if not won't be worried if we got Del in instead. If it's a reasonable fee i'd take him though.

I'd prefer to rate them as investments for the long term:

Lukaku and Besic = Phenomenal

Eto/Atsu/Lennon/Barry = Frees and loans pointless.
