2/10 - knew we needed a big window and have totally fluffed it imo, especially right side.

Happy with KDH and Grealish, and the younger lads we’ve picked up, but not enough quality or quantity currently, so we have to write the start of the season off as usual.

….difficult for me because I’ve never been an admirer of KDH or Grealish. We haven’t yet filled key RB or RW positions so I’ve given 4/10 but if I was chuffed with Grealish and KDH I’d probably give 8.

11 players out and 7 players in has left and Unbalanced Paper-thin squad.
Loads of money gambled on young (largely untested) players.
Only one of our back four is fit.
Squad positional deficiencies not addressed over the Summer.
Start of the season already written off.
Lost a lot of the experience which dragged us away from relegation last season.

Will just have to see is we can get a run together at some point or Moyes won’t make it until Christmas.

5/10

Rate our Window as of today, heading into our 2 game of the season.

Its a 5/10 for me, including Dibling.

We've signed players unwanted by their clubs; Travers, King, Grealish & KDH.

Moyes dithered with Alcaraz until the last moment.

The exciting signings like Barry & Aznou, Moyes has played down so much.

A massive final 10 days of the window where we need to sign 2 or 3 more players with similar profiles to Dibling.

Sign one we go to 7/10 and two 9/10.

I'll give it a six so far. We haven't lost any players we wanted to keep which is important but most people don't even seem to considering. The players we have brought in are mostly upgrades on the ones they have replaced, but there is still a need for a RB and RM (should I join the hipster club and call them a 2 and an 11?) and a couple of decent squad players

Without Dibling 4/10
With Dibling 5.5/10

Given we still need a starting striker, a starting right back, and further options at CM and probably even on the right wing, there's an awful lot of work to be done.

That said, we were never going to fix all the problems in one window. There really cannot be any excuses not to sign a starting right back though given the importance of the position.

And if we don't sign a starting striker we're basically accepting that we won't finish anywhere near the European positions, which to me basically makes the loan deal for Grealish a waste of time and money.
