Yesterday was Everton's first defeat of the season after 7 competitive games. It was away to current champions Chelsea.

The fallout from that game and reaction has been fierce.

In the past we've insulted others for a sense of entitlement, like for example Newcastle fans or kopites.

However we have spent a great deal of money which will raise expectation and we have not looked particularly better than last season. It's also a factor that 22 years without a trophy will rightly leave Everton fans impatient and angry at continually stalled progress.

So how do you rate our fanbase?

That would be too harsh C. I can see both sides of the argument and wish for a sensible debate to help ascertain.

The fanbase is fine, a bit fickle and naturally pessimistic after a long time of the club going nowhere, but basically fine.
Some posters spelling and grammar leaves a lot to be desired though

Imagine being filled with rage about that result yesterday.

Disappointed, OK. But look at the team's Facebook video of Koeman's postgame comments and we have melts demanding that he resign. Go root for Arsenal or something.
