I think Varane is Estonian and means 'Early'. Or maybe it's 'varajane'. Yeah defo 'varajane'. Went in too early. Who's this kid anyway is he handsome?

I live in Madrid and seen him play about 6 times this year, he's world class already, most impressive was el clasico at the bernabeu the other week, I've not seen any centre half defend so well against messi!

Bloody good. As the OP says, scary for such a young lad. Got the lot seemingly. Pace, strength, positional sense, technique and last but not least, character. Just a pity he plays for Madrid.

this is his 3rd season with Real, the french manger said last year he was not playing enough
games for Madrid! to be picked for the france team, but he has played 20 odd games this season
going to be a good one.
