?? He coached football at the club ?? is that not to do with football? Have a look at the title of the thread, if you have a problem with the content please report me using the report function, you know where it is you use it often enough, all the years of pointing the finger at Celtic yet Rangers had an offender within their confines which they knew about but didn't think report him to the authorities and tried to brush it under the carpet, perhaps you would like to comment on the situation?

Hmm less of the whataboutery please.I think what you are attempting to bring to the table, would be more appropriate for the current affairs forum.

Corky I've noticed that out of your last 5 posts 4 of them are quoting my posts on 3 different threads, I don't know whether I should be honoured that such a literary great is following me about or concerned I have a stalker.

Dave King stepping down, perhaps another misdemeanor about to be announced at Newco.
I'm surprised at this news as I was under the impression that Rangers don't do walking away... but perhaps it might be something to do with him agreeing to cover any overspends then the club spending wildly on Gerrard, Defoe and others to try to make Sevco Scotland Ltd relevant, and leaving them an operating loss of £10M a year.

They should have learnt from when the club went bankrupt and had they to start again.

"The £70m that the Revenue claimed from the club over Employee Benefit Trust (EBT) payments should have been closer to £20m and that the bill was central to the club’s liquidation in 2012, the report claimed.

Over the weekend, however, HMRC has dismissed the report in the strongest possible terms. In a statement posted on its social media accounts, Harra said, "The article is incorrect: HMRC did not make any mistakes that led to the club's insolvency.

"HMRC won against Rangers' tax avoidance in the Supreme Court. We have a long-standing claim with the liquidators to recover the money due as a result of this judgement.

Harra added, "Inaccurate and partial reporting only serves to undermine the public trust in the tax system”."

HMRC didn't really address the suggestion that the amount was wrong there to be honest. They just said that they won the case and that they are entitled to reclaim the money, which isn't the part that's disputed. What's disputed is that they wanted 70 Million when they only needed 20 Million, which in turn put off potential buyers and led to the liquidation. Bit of a non-answer on their part

Just feel like this has been going on for ever Mikey and both sides are still trying to score points off each other all these years down the road, Rangers should put up or shut up, if there is any room for appeal then I hope they waste more money on going down that road, they should just let it go and spend their time and resources on trying to win their first major trophy as newco.
