I agree with some of your points, in terms of which of their albums are best.

For example Kid A is probably my second least favourite, and I do prefer the more challenging Amnesiac (Life in a Glass House is a fantastic, unconventional tune). And you're dead on about Hail to the Thieft being a signal for what was to come.


However, I love Kid A, and I love Hail to the Thief. I just love their other albums even more. To each his own, but I think it's odd that you can call OK Computer great, but Kid A unlistenable, when they're not radically different.

It was a fecking masterpiece ;)and maybe thats what was wrong with Kid A in my eyes it followed that album :)
 

Thom is a funny looking chap but that just adds to the appeal for me. It's nice that they're not a bunch of pretty boys lighting up red carpets the world over.

I agree, mate. They're all pretty humble, reserved people, and they just get on with their music. Of course Thom Yorke's quite outspoken about various issues and what not, but they're certainly not media whores.



That said... Johnny Greenwood...
