Oddly though I don't need cheering up at all. For the first time in years I'm not actually arsed about Everton.

Although I don't really come here for Everton (paradoxically) so I doubt anyone would notice the change in moods!

100% with you on that one. I'll only care if we're dragged into a relegation fight. If we're around 10th-12th by Christmas I'm basically tuning out on football.

I've been that way too and it concerns me. Just seems futile right now. ::sigh:: ... TV is good (how good was Community this week?), lots of great video games coming out soon, the best N. American sports are in season now and there are always pornos of course. Of course it might help if we started a side with some newer players in instead of having to watch Saha, Cahill and company trudge about scoring no goals. Even then though there is really no such thing as rebuilding in football since you can't keep your players anyway.

Anyway, there's no shame in that, it's happened to all of us at some stage. Don't try and hide your true feelings and pretend that FIFA is more important. FIFA will be there when you tire of her and so will we, ready to do what we do best, which is, of course, to mercilessly take the pi** out of you until you wished you'd never mentioned it :)
