Dutch squad say they where subjected to racial abuse during open training session in krakow. Captain Mark Van Bommel said that during a warm up lap of the pitch the squad heard monkey chants from section of the crowd. UEFA say as far as they're aware it wasn't racially motivated!! Hmmmm.........

it's going to happen, it happens in most european countries, you just don't here as much of it as you would if it happened in this the UK as apparently despite being extremely multi-cultural we are bad racists. I hope the players and ethnic fans ignore it or it's feeding the hate.

Think teams should protest by not kicking off for 60 seconds after the first whistle. It is bad and we need to show it is not acceptable

Read some research today from some Swiss researchers. They created 60 odd tackle scenarios in Fifa and asked various players, refs and fans to judge whether they were fouls or not, and how serious they were if they were fouls. Turns out folks were judging very differently depending on the race of the players involved.
