Moles are the kopites of the burrowing mammal world. Rabbits batter them regularly

We don't have them in Ireland, I've seen the holes they make whenever I get over to visit my Granny, I can imagine they'd be a pest in your garden alright.

I’m continuously amazed at how violent nature is. The most fluffy and innocent looking little animal can turn quickly into a frothing psychopath. Had a squirrel in my attic. Went up to sort it out. The dick squared up to me and eventually stared me down. I pay it rent now.
