God rest Phil Everley. I remember the great Neil Young saying that everyone aspired to be able to sing harmonies as good as Don and Phil. The Hollies had them as their benchmark also. The beauty and magic of music is that it is an everlasting legacy.

Thanks to my dad I was fed a steady diet of Everly Brothers when I was a nipper. Best harmonies ever. Huge influence on the Beatles and the beach boys. RIP.
