Some sick bastards about. Using this lads death to fuel their own sense of victimhood that they wear like a cloak around them. And you know full well that most of them will be backing a call for YNWA to be played hoping that it isn't so they can wallow in the perceived snub and boost their victim status even more.

Their sense of outrage at everything is an outrage in and of itself.

There is absolutely no need for them to flinging that type of stuff to be honest, its tasteless.

As for the YNWA thing at Goodison, don't you think the poor lad's parents have got a bit more to consider at the moment? This Facebook thing is ill advised and dangerous. If his parents said they would appreciate the gesture then play it too right. But it's their call and no one else's.

Scouser first, EFC/LFC second is what the city does best, lets keep it that way.

this is my final word on this thread, I've said enough. To be honest I feel a little guilty of doing the same, stoking it up(by posting the link), as ultimately there was only the odd poster making it 'about the football'. As RadioFriendly said, someone's died, its gone beyond all that. Beyond scoring points. whose got the best fans etc.

I'm confident 99% of blue and red fans share similar feelings about this (i.e sadness that this happened, best wishes to the family etc), and only a sad minority on both sides will want to use it as a hatred thing between the clubs, or to prove that one set of fans are better or whatever crap.

Let's not look for hate or anger; chances are we'll find it somewhere - sometimes its an expression of ourselves. Lets look for what's mutual between the two clubs. Its the only way to lessen the animosity. They proved to me, during the Rhys Jones tribute they weren't a bad lot (y'know many reds are our brothers, our sisters, our mates, our sons - as we are to them). I'm sure we've proven the same thing to them before now.

We can do all that, and still want to see them beat on derby day...or get relegated or what have you.
(if you want to reply to me PM me as I'm out of this thread)

RIP James.

Spot on. And just as if a grieving family would be arsed worrying themselves with [Poor language removed] like that.

I agree with neonleon's sentiment of least said-soonest mended, but the ghouls who have organised this make it difficult not to pass comment.

Some scary people out there who haven't got a ******* clue about what it is to be human.

I've agreed with 99% of what you've said on this thread. TBF. And I can see what you say about those lobbying now and it being used as some sort of "excuse" just to some portraying victim-hood and for more inexcusable behaviour by idiots.

If it were an isolated incident then it may be possible to put down to mindless dickheads going too far, sadly the general level of cowardly behaviour in this country appears to increase at an exponential rate.
The Gary Newlove killers got off lightly, and there three inbred stains on humanity got found guilty today. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/three-found-guilty-of-halloween-hat-murder-2104511.html
Something has to give, £33k a year to keep a prisoner yet child benefit and education and the NHS are being cut back. What ever happened to cold hard vengeance?
