What's with the new blue box thing when quoting people now?

Used to just be the QUOTE & /QUOTE text with the post number added but now there's a cumbersome blue box thing which is difficult to work around and doesn't seem to behave well when lining up replies, breaking down a quote or using multiple quotes.

Is it possible to wind back or are we stuck with it?

There does seem to be lots of options for inserting proper programming code in "More Options" "Code" under the Language "General Code" dropdown. (C++, Javascript, SQL etc)
If that is all disabled then all is good.

Yeah it's just for display.

People can't run/execute SQL queries etc via a message editor on here;

INSERT INTO STATION VALUES (44, 'Denver', 'CO', 40, 105);

I was a bit surprised that one of my posts had been quoted by another poster, but that poster had changed some of the wording in my post? As it happens, it wasn't a particularly important issue but, surely, this facility shouldn't be allowed?

The original post doesn't get changed so clicking on the quote will take you back to the original post and wording.

That's fine as long as everyone who reads the 'revised' post bothers to check it. That's if they know to click on the quote. (I didn't).
