My career started wearing the team colours of claret and blue making 47 apperances and scoring twice.In 1997 i moved to Everton in a exchange deal which saw "the Rhino" move the other way. I made 17 apperances in 3 years and was dogged by a foot injury which eventually saw me leave Everton and retire from playing. My squad numbers were 4 and then 25, I played as a attacking midfielder but never scored in Everton colours.
