Hey All,

Just lookin' to see if I can get some info about scoring tickets for the Arsenal game. Not trying get websites or spamming going here - just some insight.

I'll be in London in January and hoping to catch the game on the 9th. I expected that with a place like the Emirates it would be no problem to score from the box office. So I went on the Arse website to look into prices and it's already sold out(!).

So just wondering if scalpers (or touts, I believe) are common for football games in England. Does anyone have any experience with this at the Emirates? And if so, do they ever sell for the away fans' section?

Thanks.

Kevin

Tickets go on sale: 21dec sth with 6+ away credits. 23rd dec sth 4+ away credits. 24th dec sth 2+ away credits. 28th dec season ticket holders. 30th dec supporters with 6+ away credits. 2nd jan 4+ away credits. General sale 8am mon 4th jan!

Get them from Everton on general sale. Arsenal might have sold their allocation for the home fans but we only started selling our allocation for the away fans on Monday.

You do get the odd tout at the London games, I can definitely remember seeing some at Tottenham & Fulham, can't remember seeing any at Arsenal but it's best to get sorted beforehand if you can.

If you phone the box office & explain the situation, I can't see there being a problem with you picking them up from the Emirates before the game there like you would do if you were getting a duplicate of a lost ticket.

You can buy from someone (who sells double price) in front of emirates stadium before the game with double price..so good lucks..

Okay, cool. There are only 2,900 available according to Everton.com so I just assumed they'd be all gone by the time I arrived - not to mention the logistics of picking it up. But I'll give your idea a shot. Thanks for this.

My mate from Cambridge got me two tickets for this match on Monday. Thought they were they were a decent price at 32.50GBP. We're going to London for that weekend with the supportersclub of Fortuna, and I e-mailed Everton, if it was possible to get around 25 tickets for this match. No chance according to them. So the rest will visit Fulham vs Pompey instead and I'll make my way to The Emirates with a friend of mine. On Sunday it will be West Ham vs Wolves on the menu. Will have a great time, looking forward to it.

They could well be gone by the time you arrive, but if you phone when they go on general sale you might be able to reserve 1 & pick it up from the Emirates on the day of the match

I'll make this Plan 'B'. But at least I'll have a Plan 'B'. Thanks.

As a fellow footy traveller I would try and avoid any ticket touts.

Ring Arsenal and speak to a human, or ring Everton and do the same. They will help you as much as possible, and may even surprise you.

I agree, don't go near a tout, there's no guarantee their over priced tickets are real

I was gambling that my bad-ass Canadian attitude would be too intimidating for anyone to try and rip me off...

But seriously, thanks for the head's up - I will try to exhaust legitimate avenues first.
