Close enough. Luis Monti lost the very first world cup final playing for Argentina, but won it 4 years later playing for Italy

I wouldn't have remembered the name without google. I think Italy had a few nationalised South Americans of Italian origin in 34 and possibly 38. But Monti was the one who played in 30 and 34.
