Hi lads, i'm from toonforum.co.uk and we like to ask opposition fans a set of questions to use in our pre match build up. We are grateful to anyone who takes the time to answer them. The questions are:

1 – How do you think you’ll line up?
2 – How has Everton’s season gone so far? Happy?
3 – Who has been the biggest surprise this season for Everton? Who has disappointed?
4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start?
5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides?
6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now?
7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now?
8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down?
9 – Scoreline prediction?
10 – If your football club was a vegetable, what vegetable would it be?

1 – How do you think you’ll line up?
Howard; Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines; McCarthy Barry; McGeady Barkley Mirallas; Lukaku

2 – How has Everton’s season gone so far? Happy?
Very. If you told me that European Football was a very high possibility whilst playing a completely different style of football at the beginning of the season i would have laughed tbh. With 5th seemingly in our control you cant even say its a bad season, whoever does is an idiot.

3 – Who has been the biggest surprise this season for Everton? Who has disappointed?
The surprise for is John Stones. Whilst i knew he was good, i didn't think he'd be THIS good if you get me. Only going to get better as well. The disappointment has to be Mirallas. At the beginning of the season i expected him to flourish under Roberto, hasn't happened. Despite having 9 assists and 5 goals, i haven't been overly impressed with him.

4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start?
Very good. Very, very good. Frightening how good he is for a 20yr old. Should he go to Brazil? Yes, he's outperformed most of the other midfielders such as; Wilshere, Cleverley, Carrick etc. But i dont think he should start. IMO, i dont even trust Roy to use him the way he should be used.

5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides?
Everton: Baines/Coleman, Lukaku, Barkley and Barry
Newcastle: Your CB's, especially after what Lukaku did to them at Goodison.

6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now?
5th.

7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now?
9th.

8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down?
Top 6: Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, United.
Relegation: Fulham, Cardiff, West Brom.

9 – Scoreline prediction?
Newcastle 1 - 2 Everton.

10 – If your football club was a vegetable, what vegetable would it be?
No idea hahaha!

2 – How has Everton’s season gone so far? Happy? Very, played some good stuff but feel we missed the boat(again) in not bringing more in during Jan. If we squeak into Europe that is a bonus.
3 – Who has been the biggest surprise this season for Everton? Who has disappointed? Oviedo was a revalation until his injury. Seeing Osman decline is sad and Miralles has been frustrating.
4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start? Very. Yes. Yes.
5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides? For us Lukaku, not sure for your lot tbh
6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now? 5th or 6th
7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now? Around 9th
8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down? Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Us, Man U. Going down are Fulham, Cardiff and West Brom.
9 – Scoreline prediction? 1 - 2
10 – If your football club was a vegetable, what vegetable would it be? Not sure, if we were an animal we would be a honey badger though
 

1 – How do you think you’ll line up? Same as today, although maybe Osman for Ross and Deulo in for Kev.
2 – How has Everton’s season gone so far? Happy? If we are disappointed its only because the manager/team got our expectations nup. overall i think we should all be happy with a good start to a new era
3 – Who has been the biggest surprise this season for Everton? Who has disappointed? Barkley has dipped in form but its been amazing seeing him take to the PL like a duck to water and know he should be ours for a while. Mirallas is a fan favourite, but I think he flatters to decieve and frustrates greatly.
4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start? Why not, he has the skills and wont be overawed. He will bring something the squad doesn't have.
5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides? Lukaku for us, Krul for you ;)
6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now? 4th!!!
7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now? 8th
8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down? Top 6 as is, relegation will be Cardiff, Palace and Fulham
9 – Scoreline prediction? 0-1
10 – If your football club was a vegetable, what vegetable would it be? Yam
 
Question for you;

Without Remy who do ypu think would pose a threat to us -- is ben arfa the main dangerman now?

I think lukaku will score but think you may too....

Like we're in a different League.

This seasons been full of surprises, almost like we're in a different League.

4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start?

He's in a different League & Yes.

5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides?

All of ours for us & tbh you could play anyone, it won't matter as you're from a different League.


6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now?

at best Champions League position, prob Europa

7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now?

At best Europa League position, prob not, but in a different league to us


8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down?

Not You lot, unfortunately not you lot as you'd like to be in a different league

9 – Scoreline prediction?

everton 6 declared, You Golden Ducks all round

1 – How do you think you’ll line up?

Osman will probably start. We will all fume because he's sodding dropped/rested Barkley again. Then he'll score. And we'll forget about the initial fume.
Other than that similar to today but with winger types swapped around a bit.

2 – How has Everton’s season gone so far? Happy?

Initial happiness is wearing a bit thin as we've been playing a bit crap, while still getting results. But we all thought we'd be about 10th this season so perspective, yeah happy.

3 – Who has been the biggest surprise this season for Everton? Who has disappointed?

Nearly all of us fumed when we signed Gareth Barry. But he's proved vital.
Mirallas gets good press but if you actually watch him he drives you insane. The massive Belgian fanny.

4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start?

He's boss obviously. Many on here aren't too bothered about England so I expect to be in the minority. Yes take him. If we're doing crap then bring him in ASAP.

5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides?

Our defence can't defend set pieces. They need to sort this out. If we don't then that is key.
I literally have no idea who is good for you guys these days.

6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now?

5th/6th - if we finish any lower this forum will implode.

7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now?

Like 8th or 9th or something.

8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down?

Top 6 - City, Chelsea, Kopite bells, Arse, Us then a flip between spuds and United.
Bottom 3 - Fulham, Sunderland, Palace

9 – Scoreline prediction?

8-0 to Everton
1-0 either way really

10 – If your football club was a vegetable, what vegetable would it be?

Onion - we have many many layers - some boss some not so.

Same as today probably, unless Jags is fit, in which case he'll be in for Stones.

Very happy - few dodgy results post-Christmas are behind us and we're headed for European football of some kind!

3 – Who has been the biggest surprise this season for Everton? Who has disappointed?
Oviedo was a surprise for me, but that won't affect your lot. Mirallas has been disappointing.

4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start?
Not quite found form since his injury imo, but still ace. Yes he should go to Brazil.

5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides?
Us: Our full backs and Lukaku.
You: Krul.

6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now?
Fifth.

7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now?
Ninth.

8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down?
City, Chelsea, RS, Arsenal, Everton, MU.
Fulham, Cardiff, West Brom.

9 – Scoreline prediction?
0-2.

10 – If your football club was a vegetable, what vegetable would it be?
An ace, blue one.
 

1 – How do you think you’ll line up?
Too early to say, we could get multiple injuries until then. jags will probably come back in for stones from today's game. everyone else should keep their place, even if mirallas has been woeful lately.

2 – How has Everton’s season gone so far? Happy?
Can't argue with 5th with games in hand. Above the ginger weapon as well, given the amounts spurs and united have spent, we should be about 20 points behind them. New mentality which will take us to the next step eventually has been the most pleasing aspect, adapted well to the new playing style which sees us command virtually every game, even at places like the emirates and white hart lane.

3 – Who has been the biggest surprise this season for Everton? Who has disappointed?
Howard probably, thought he was finished after last season, wouldn't have gone with him as first choice this season. coleman has just stepped it up a couple more notches from last season and has been the best full back in the league by a country mile this season.

4 – How good is Ross Barkley? Should he go to Brazil? And start?
Potentially superb, nowhere near the finished article and a couple of years behind in terms of development because of said ginger weapon not rating him. should no doubt go to brazil, he has the confidence on the ball that not many england lads have, not a starter yet though - next tournament he will be.

5 – Which players do you see being key for both sides?
Lukaku (couldn't deal with him at Goodison) and Cabaye - you miss him terribly, that's key right?

6 – Where do you think Everton will finish now?
6th, even if we should be finishing 5th. one of those two below us will pip us, but don't think both will.

7 – Where do you think Newcastle will finish now?
With a weapon of a manager a mars bar short and 9th, soton are just better.

8 – Who will finish in the top six? Who will go down?
Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, Man Utd, Spurs.
Cardiff, Sunderland and Palace

9 – Scoreline prediction?
1-2 (Heart wins over head), head says 1-1 with us ruing missed chances.

10 – If your football club was a vegetable, what vegetable would it be?
One that's starting to blossom? To be honest, i barely eat them so only know a couple.
 
Do you like Alan Pardew mate?

To condense your questions. James Mcarthy.Gareth Barry have been a revelation to us.

Barkley is good enough, but personally dont want him to go to the WC.

No idea where we or you will finish. We have just been played off the park, (well not quite), by Swansea, but won. Bonkers season.

Vegetable? Dunno. Not a Spud though.

1 - Same as today probably, maybe switch Geads and Mirallas around
2 - More or less, I must admit Martinez was not my first choice, but he's taken to such a massive role unlike some in the past (Cough, WALKER! Cough cough...)
3 - Biggest surprise would be McCarthy, I gawped at the 13M tag but thus far he's justified it. Coleman has had an amazing season too.
I don't want to single anyone out, but if I absolutely have to pick out someone, I'd say I am most disappointed in Mirallas, not because he's played that poorly, but because we know he can play a lot better. While his free kicks have astounded us, he has sometimes disappeared from games - and that ain't pretty, trust me!
4 - Barkley is class, and will only improve. If Cleverley goes to Brazil and Barkley doesn't, then we don't deserve to win an arm holding a grapefruit covered in custard, let alone the real thing!
5 - Cisse for the black and white beer monsters and Barkley for the blue heroes.
6 - 6th
7 - 8th
8 - Top six: Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Man U, Everton Down: Cardiff, Fulham, Palace
9 - 2-2 draw, Cisse and Tiote for Neeeuurrracasssal, Lukaku and erm, I dunno... Barry for us
10 - Bill Kenwright, the vegetable who happens to be chairman of our club
 
its gonna be a close one. If we win it will be a snach and grab. Night match there is similar to goodison so it makes it difficult if they get going from the off. Pity their freak of a manager isn't on touchline. Wonder what they think of him. He seems quite obsessed about making comments on our beloved royal blue team over the last year or 2. With him watching it in shearers those Geordies could get a result!
