In Super 15 Rugby over here, the South African teams (Bulls I think) have a spa on the sideline filled with bikini-clad cheerleaders, and you can win a prize to watch the game in there with them! Beat that! Can't find a pic online dammit.

The Crusaders used to have a sofa on half way, the winners would be sat in it just above the adverts with loads of Canterbury Draught.

Thats just reminded me, Undercover Boss USA was on the other week and it was the one with NASCAR in it, and there was a woman working a hot dog stand at a stadium earning money to get new uniforms and travel fees paid for because they couldn't get funding as they were no longer classified as a sport.
It's as much a sport as gymnastics. And hotter.

They did the Whole Cheerleading is not a sport as the tryouts and some people were not making the team at all. I think is what it was.

Cheerleaders are everywhere in the states. We hated them at our soccer matches in High School. We kicked them to the stands.

Thoroughly surprised that they actually let her out on the field in that pedo-bear outfit. NFL saying it's OK to want to bum Girl Scouts? Do like that any cheerleader outfit has a bare belly per federal regulation.

I can't imagine high school or college sports in this country without them tbh. It's one of a number of things that are just "American". Cheerleading nowadays is pretty intense though. They do all sorts of dangerous pyramids and stuff and they've always done backflips etc. Those girls are pretty athletic.

NFL and NBA cheerleaders are just eye candy and dancers though. High school/college cheerleaders = girl next door type athletes. Pro cheerleaders = window dressing.
