Question re: buying an SPL single match ticket

now you're gonna hear about it
I have a friend going to Aberdeen soon for work and I encouraged him to look into an Aberdeen FC ticket, and they've got a home match vs Rangers when he'll be there. He went the proper channels, but they told him he could not buy a ticket because that match is a Class A/Restricted match.

If he tries to get a ticket via stub hub or similar, will he still have trouble getting through the gate (not because he's fat, although he is American, but because he's never been to an Aberdeen match before), or once he has a ticket is he good to get into the stadium?

Thanks, -SN

Hi SN. The Aberdeen v Rangers game is massive in Scotland. It's not a local derby, but they hate each other. Aberdeen isn't a big stadium and away fans don't have a large allocation, so some away fans try to get home end tickets. It is one of the better stadia to go to in Scotland and I love going there, shouldn't be a problem if he has a ticket. Wish him well.
