Player Valuation: £500k
I was wondering what everyone thought Seamus Coleman would be worth at the moment?? I stress, I do not want to sell him, just intrigued as to how much his value has appreciated given we only paid 60 kings for him.

about 6 million, he is young but has had only one season, so might be worth a gamble around that mark at present if he keeps it up next season you could get a lot more

What did Spurs end up paying for those two lads from Sheff Utd. last year? Considering the main fella has hardly set the world alight.

To be honest I think Seamus is already way beyond the level of experience they had at the time as well, season experience in the Prem, Irish International etc.

Would love to see him play at right back before the end of the season, if we can manage to field a midfield without him. Did see him and Vic play on the right together in one of the Australian pre-season games in the summer and they looked like they linked well. Lets be honest Vic is not a front line striker end of, and he does occasionally show some promise when he plays wide.

If i was selling i,d want 10 million for him if i was buying id offer 6 million.Next year if he carries on progressing it could be much more.

be good to see him back there now he has played a few games, think you would need someone that would drop back and cover for him at times vic would have to be in the mood to do that

Agreed, and stay on his feet long enough to get back as well.!!!

Agree on your valuations as well although certainly don't want to sell him. Did read somewhere that he has the highest tackle completion stat across the team this year? It is all about his positional play for the full back role now, and that can be coached.

one of the few i woudnt sell, baines jags and felli , he has everthing a full back needs can tackle has speed uses the ball ok just needs the games to get the know how to get that role, as a midfielder his card will be marked from now on and the lad could find it a bit of a struggle

knowing Everton, we would probably make a loss on the lad due to an ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR, and still be liable for appearance money at his new club.

Sligo would then whoop us pre-season wearing the 1 of the kits that were part of the original deal, in our new ground on the deck of the Ark Royal (Blue Mersey).

Spot on fella on all counts.
