Chelsea look strong at the top with the kind of depth that is simply scary. But the other end of the table is most interesting and not solely because 'de Merde Rouge' (say it like Khmer Rouge) are occupying at bottom three spot.
At the moment it is West ham, Wolves and Liverpool bottom three, I do not suspect Liverpool will stay there but the other two are looking likely to be prime candidates for relegation. But who else is a likely gonner? I'm guessing at Wigan who I thought would sink last term.

I personally think the only teams with scary squad sheets are Spurs and Man City.

I don't think Chelsea, United or Arsenal have as much depth.

In terms of first XIs though, Chelsea's team is absolutely immense, Arsenal's is great and United's is maybe lacking in midfield, but up front and in defence they are world class.

But this gives me confidence. I don't think anyone outside of those 5 has as good as first XI as us, or as good a squad. And even then I'd argue the differences between a lot of them and us are slight. Take Rooney out of United's team, and I honestly feel that our squad is better, definitely if you add in Landon. Maybe I'm biased, but it's encouraging that we've come so far.

I can only see Wigan and West Ham going down, probably joined by Blackpool (hopefully not) or Wolves (hopefully).

The only thing scary about City's squad sheet is the amount of money they spent on it!

Blackpool are starting to drop down the league like a stone, I'd say they're probably going, along with West Ham and Wigan.
