Player Valuation: £40m

Telegraph Sport can also disclose that, during their Championship-winning season under Neil Warnock last year, QPR’s £29.7 million wage bill amounted to 183 per cent of their £16.2 million turnover.

Since then, the wage burden has been even further increased by the arrival of established Premier League players such as Joey Barton, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Anton Ferdinand, Djibril Cissé, Bobby Zamora, Luke Young and Nedum Onuoha.

Queens Park Rangers count £56 million cost of joining the Premier League elite

Apparently they were losing 500k a week last year and I'm just wondering with them getting new players in in January too that can they cope with the very real prospect of relegation. They have a new owner and stuff but don't know how much he wants to chip in.

And most of the money that's been put into the club by Ecclestone et al has only been via loans. This notion of the venerable sugar daddy willing to lose a few hundred million is cloud cuckoo land bar a few ridiculously wealthy people.

its all cloudy bruce. chelsea owe abramovich about 800 mil coz hes only loaned them and the rest are the same

the people I feel sorry for in these situations is (some) of the fans. I'd be devastated if Everton went under. Only the loud mouth whopper fans deserve that kind of things. Like certain city of ****e fans

Apparently they have about 7 players on 70k....

The players dont have a relegation contract clause, which would lower their wage, but the Sponsors do. So technically, all of their sponsors could pull out next season

Ouch.

Let's not moan about our own lot then eh? At least we're solvent. Kenwright may not be everyone's cup of tea but hey, at Least we're still in existence

Hope they go down. They have a few players who I cannot stand. And they stayed up at Boltons expense a few seasons back. (my 2nd team). I want Burnley to stay up. Sadly I do not think they will. Eh I am talking about relegation as though we are safe. Maybe that is a good sign.
