I don't think it was in the text but according to the lads twitter, he walked over to stop it then the lad dissapeared... he ran back to his minibus to grab the knife and then done it. So hes actually made the effort to go back to his minibus, grab the knife, get out and then stab him.


Everyone on his coach apparently knew who it was but some defended him, guessing they were scared?
