Stupid FA , worse red card ever

for me it was no red, the goal was offside, and minimal contact no pen for me.... terrible refs nowerdays look at the chelsea game 2 goals offside and are game ball was behind the line and possible 2 pens f.a need to sort it out.

Ok just watched it.

Young is a mile offside and minimal contact.

Not sure, its hard for the Fa, there WAS contact, granted it wouldnt have hurt a flea, but................

Its about the rules and him being the ''last man'' hindering a ''goal scoring chance''. Once again the penalties for so called misconduct don't weigh up the true nature of the game, perhaps a two yellow 'red card' would be more fitting so just a game ban. But the damage is done in the game anyway as they lost.

Makes you wonder how, in the Modern Era, when a player like Suaracist incites the crowd with a hand gesture he only gets a game ban tagged onto his punishment for racial abuse.

It was a ridiculous decision, but........................the reason its been rejected was based on the fact that there was contact; very, very, very, very minimal contact but contact.

The offiside decision will be discounted at the appeal.

Very poor by the officials

I suppose the only way to rationalise it is if they say ''the linesman fcuked up but we can't change that. And the ref saw contact by the last man on a player who was deemed to be onside''.

Still a fcuking disgrace in my book

They can twist it any way they like but it's not in the spirit of the game.

The punishment is way out of proportion, it cost them the game and now they are compounding this with a ban, ridiculous.

He didn't take him down and even if he had, a penalty should be enough and the rest of the game is not spoilt. Red cards should be for malicious play. I'd favor a sin bin for persistent fouling.

Even if he had made strong contact and Young was onside, still not convinced it was a clear cut goal scoring opportunity, ball was coming at him fast and he's hardly the most clinical finisher.
