Haha that is funny, but in defence of Barton if you have worked abroad for a certain length of time you will subconsciously try to mimic the accent of the people you are with.

Will have to watch that video later but generally Joey Barton is quite an enigma of a proffesional footballer.

A lot of what he comes out and says is really honest and truthful, like the qpr podcast that is on the web. He talks about Newcastle and their problems and it was quite insightful. I honestly believe he is the best defensive midfielder now that nobody wants.

There lies his problem, his actions speak louder than words and it is a sad sight that he has thrown his career away the way he has. I stand by the thought that he would have been better than Gerrard if he had not done everyhting he has.

But what is done is done and away from punditing, he will be another forgotten footballer who could have been great, but will have to live with regret.
