4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

Last time I tried to do the same sort of Q&A on a Spurs site I got nothing but abuse.

So in keeping in my Gentleman way, here you are.

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?*

Probably not to be honest, we've signed no one new, so it's going to be much more of the same. Ross Barkley has emerged as a good youth team product that looks the business, and a few of our younger players hopefully will have developed a bit. I think Everton will struggle Saturday.

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

I'd love to say we are on the up but realistically we're quite stagnant. We are not competing with other clubs transfer wise, with no signs of investment coming in. Some of the players we have though, could get us to top 6, but that would be a stroke of luck and i can see another bad start to the season in the pipeline, so we'll be playing catch up for months.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?*

Top 10 and I'll be over the moon.

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?*

Spurs have some cracking players, so I'd say top 5. It's a long haul to break the top 3.

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

Duncan Ferguson. Current favourite player is Leighton Baines. He's just boss.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?*

Quite enjoyed last years games, as we were really up for it and gave you a good game.

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

7 out of 10. It's a tidy and compact ground.

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

Spurs 2 Everton 0.*

Wonder if PIenaar will show his face, what have you done with him by the way haha.

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?

Quite a few i should expect with the number of knocks we seem to have picked up in pre-season, its hard to tell who is fit and ready for Saturday and who isn't. In terms of additions, there's no surprise that we've not made any as of yet, but we are hoping that young players Gueye, Barkley, Rodwell and perhaps one or two others, push on this season and establish themselves in the first team. My thoughts on the game itself are that it really can't come soon enough, i'm just excited for the Football season to be back underway, and i'm hoping Everton surprise and surpass my expectations.

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

Short answer, no. Unfortunately we have owners who aren't capable (or willing, dependent on your side of the argument) to invest in the team. And when a manager has no money to invest, how can he possibly improve the team ?. 2-3 years ago we had a very good team, that with better investment could have mounted a challenge on the top four. Sadly that investment wasn't forthcoming, key players left and weren't replaced, or weren't replaced well enough. And the key players that remained are great but they are pushing their 30's they can't go on forever.

The realistic view is that while i'd say we aren't going to realistically push Liverpool, yourselves, Arsenal, City, Chelsea and United over the course of the season, we are i'd say the best of the rest. So 7th once again is an achievable target, that with a stroke of luck in terms of European placing, could see us with a spot in the Europa League in 2012.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?

Once again, in my view a maximum of 7th, with a minimum of say 10th. I do think we will struggle to hold on to a top 10 place in the near future if the current trend of bringing nobody in continues, but for now we are good enough to stay there or thereabouts.

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

You've not really made any additions of note to your first team as those around you have, and in truth this situation with Modric could be very unsettling for the squad regardless of whether he stays or goes. I do think you need to shift quite a bit of deadwood and get in a couple of players, (and a replacement for Luka if he goes) if your really to challenge for a top four place again this season. Realistically speaking i'd say 6th, although i fancy Arsenal to fall quite hard this year so i wouldn't rule out you finishing above your rivals.

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

Favourite ever would have to be Big Duncan Ferguson, exactly my kind of striker, bullied centre halves, great in the air, fiercely competitive. Favourite currently would be Jagielka, top centre half.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?

The 3-1 at WHL from a couple of years back stands out, 2007, 2008 ?. I remember it vividly because Ossie produced the game of his life, still to date probably the best performance i've seen from him.

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

I've only ever been the once, we did a tour of all the Football League grounds in London and caught a few games, fortunately the one we caught at WHL was a cracker (though probably not from your perspective) certainly one of the best games of Football i've seen live. Spurs 3-4 City in the cup, recall ? Jon Macken scored the winner right in front of us, still don't believe you guys threw that game away. 3-0 up at half time and City were a man down !.

But yeah, back to the question at hand. I enjoyed the atmosphere that night, WHL itself is a nice ground, couple of nice pubs round there too. I'd give it a 7/10.

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

Hard fought draw, 1-1.

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?

Non, unless Moyes throws a kid or two in

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

If we start well we might have an outside chance of Europe. Otherwise same old.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?

Max:5
Min:10

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

No better than 5th, Like us spurs have had a very frustrating summer. An i do think Modric (typical rat) will go at some point.

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

Graham Sharp hence name.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?

Semi final Everton 4-1 Spurs. Having the three sides of the ground that day made it feel like a home game.

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

7/10 nice tidy ground. But like us you need a move away.

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

Spurs 1-1 Everton

Last time I tried to do the same sort of Q&A on a Spurs site I got nothing but abuse.

Wonder if PIenaar will show his face, what have you done with him by the way haha.

Sorry to hear that...don't think it was our site. Easily the most friendly out of all the Spurs ones, we have loads of away fans that post on it. And an Everton equivalent to this on there at the moment.

Probably not mate - he came off injured against Bilbao yesterday. He's been injured almost ever since he got here :dodgy: From what I have seen of him, I don't rate him that highly anyway, he's definitely only ever going to be a squad player for us. Played against AC Milan away though when we won 1-0 :D

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?

It will be tough for us, I expect us to play it tight and go for a sneaky win. The line up will only be changed due to injury and suspension. In all likelihood the formation will remain the 4-4-1-1 everyone knows us for. I expect Barkley to get a run out but if Arteta and Osman are at all fit will likely see them on both wings.

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

Definitely same old. We haven't spent any money on transfers in two years and as good as our first eleven is, it is starting to tell. This season might be one of the last for particular team to have a real go at top 6 and silverware. It's an aging side which the board are showing little sign of investing in.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?

Minimum 11th/ Maximum 6th

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

Likely to have a decent run in the cups and hover around 4th/5th again. Arsenal are your biggest targets for fourth place and if they don't strengthen you have a real chance providing Liverpool's spending doesn't come to fruition.

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

8. It's a good atmosphere with a passionate set of fans.

9. What is your score prediction for the match?

1-1

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?
No, but kenwrong may sort out a player until them

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future? yes, as we have the team spirit, but injuries may be a factor, so if we are injury free, we beat citeh regularly and seem to be somewhat of a bogey team for chelski...so theres no reason really that if we start beating the lower teams, we should be able to get top 6 if not top 4

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?
anywhere from 4th to 7th

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?
decent squad, but cant see you going for the title like 'arry is saying, so ill go for 4th-7th like us

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?
fave player of all time has to be big dunc...i grew up with him as my idol...although big nev is a close second...class keeper.
current player, has to be baines...hes just so silky its unreal...then coleman, that kid is seriously living the dream!

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?
Im unsure, but seamus's debut when he turned the game on his head sticks in my memory

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch. 6.5

8. What is your score prediction for the match? heart says 2-1 us head says 1-1

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?

Aside from Coleman being both suspended and injured, I think the most notable change is that we may actually see a striker.
I think (and I bleed blue optimism here) that Saha and Yakubu are both healthy, and that Jermaine Beckford is beginning to settle into the Premier League level. Anichebe can't possibly be as poor as he was last season, but that's not really saying much. Also, Vellios shows much promise, but falls perhaps too deep in the team to see much of the field (especially in the first game).

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

While Everton have made a habit of starting dreadfully, I think it may finally be the time we get a fair number of points from the early months, but it just wouldn't be Everton if I weren't drinking bleach at some point, so we'll stumble mid season and, with a mess of injuries, end up just outside of a Europa bid. I do think Everton have hope for the future in a young midfield of Fellaini, Barkley and Rodwell, but I don't think things will come together just yet.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?

6-8

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

If I'm honest, Tottenham confuse me. I will say that the squad has depth of note, but I worry that an injury to Bale or Van Der Vaart could cause serious problems. That being said, Spurs always seem to get results... 5-8 for me.

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

I've not been on the scene for long enough to know many of the greats, but I must respect Neville Southall and Duncan Ferguson.

Of current players, Fellaini can really boss the game and I think Tony Hibbert gets far less credit than he deserves, that's why I'll showcase him. A traditional fullback and servant to the club, he's a tidy player and a remnant of times long past. Hibbert tackles with a certain grace that is rarely seen in today's game. He'll always put in the effort and makes up for his modest pace with wily play and positioning. Just don't expect any goals on either end of the pitch.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?

Tough choice, really. I did enjoy both of last year's fixtures. Filled with joy and despair like any good football match.

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

7/10 Haven't been, and haven't perhaps paid as much attention as I should. Like Goodison Park, it's best years are behind, but when the crowd starts with the Hotspur chanting, it really can be imposing.

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

1-1, but I could see a late winner for either side if the deadlock breaks.

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?
Yes. But obviously we're not going to let you know what they are likely to be.

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?
Its tough to say. We've got certain weaknesses in our squad we know about, but equally we have a number of good young kids coming through (we won the U18 national league last season) and you may see one or two. If those step up and give us a major boost during this season we may surprise one or two people. We need to get at least one player in before the deadline. So if that happens in the right position, don't see why not.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?
8th/4th

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?
You've been big spenders over the past decade, but I would say you're abit like Chelsea suffer from the "mercenary mentality". When something doesn't suit that sort of player they don't give 100%.

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?
Alan Ball (before my time) or Duncan Ferguson. Currently, either Arteta or Leighton Baines. Baines is epitome of what Everton FC is all about these days.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?
Beating you in the semi final in 1995.

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.
Was there last season. Was surprised that the locals were fairly friendly which for London is surprising itself. Its fairly modern, but doesn't have the atmosphere of the grand old lady - Goodison. I'd give WHL a 6.5/10

8. What is your score prediction for the match?
1-2 Everton

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?

As is widely known we haven't signed anybody as we write. Hopefully Rodwell will make a mark this year and hopefully Gueye and Barkley will have more of a role in the team this season but otherwise we have the same squad minus vaughan. I think if we play like the last 2 friendlies we will get pasted.

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

We have hit a brick wall at the moment I don't want us to start declining as a club but as everyone knows unless we find investment all the teams around us are catching us up and teams like yourselves are pulling ahead of us. With this squad of players the top 6 is still a realistic target but suspensions and injuries play a factor.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?
Min 10
Max 4

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

btween 4 - 8

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

Big Duncan and Kevin Sheedy and current player is Bainsey he's our standout at the moment, plus i used to play fullback so i pay more attention to that position.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?

Got to be the F.A Cup semi-final '95 need i say more we hammered ya's all the more satisfying as all the media kept harping on about a dream cup final of utd and spurs. 4-1(only goal we conceded on route too)

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

Never been to The Lane but on tv the atmosphere sounds loud and rocking nice and close to the pitch a good old stadium like our Grand old lady 7.5

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

Spurs 2 - 0 Everton :(

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?

Obviously not, as we have the same players. Anichebe is ace.

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

No doubts mate. Top three this year, unless those causing the conspiracy against us at the FA stand in our way. We're the real champions of England for the last twelve years, Howard Webb the beaut.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?

Should finish top but "the man" will screw us over again and we'll probably get relegated to division eight or something.

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

I don't know, depends on how quickly they rebuild that area after the fire really. I think the community will pull through though.

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

Stevie Nicks. Freddie Mercury is a good shout too.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?

FA Cup Semi-Final, when the old school Anichebe Daniel Amokachi put one in. Matt Jackson too, bloody hell.

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

(3x-6z)2+1/2n

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

7-2 Spurs. Louis Saha with a hattrick.

1. What are your thoughts on Saturday's game? Will there be any changes from the regular Everton line up from last season?

Yeah, we won't have as many injured players. Oh, wait, you mean new signings? No, there won't be any.

2. Do you think Everton are a club on the up, or is it likely that it will just be more of the same in the coming seasons? Do you think you will be able to break into the top 6 in the near future?

Unfortunately more of the same. The only way I could see us breaking into the top four/six is by having a very good start, something we've been unable to do the past few seasons. We'll have to stay away from the injury bug as well if we're to improve on last year's finish.

3. What position do you think Everton will finish this season (minimum/maximum)?

Anywhere between 5th and 12th.

4. What do you think of Tottenham's chances for next season?

Anywhere between 3rd and 7th depending on your health, keeping hold of Modric, etc...

5. Who is your favourite Everton player of all time, and your favourite current player?

All time? Lee Carsley. Current? Baines.

6. What is your favourite Everton v Spurs game of all time?

The only Everton home match I've ever attended. Good Friday 2004. Everton 2 (Unsworth, Yobo) Spurs 1. Keller in the nets for you.

7. Rate White Hart Lane out of 10, based not only on the stadium itself but factors you also consider important such as atmosphere and proximity to the pitch.

Never been there.

8. What is your score prediction for the match?

Heart: 1-1

Head: 2-0 to Spurs.
