If that doesn't work ask the vet for advice.
Why would you pay a vet when you thousands of years combined experience on here to help and guide you through this difficult time.
You have a wealth of good advice here at your fingertips and all for free
That’s the beauty of Internet forums.
I’d try the sawdust option personally after reading all the posts
The bridge scenario and the flamethrower while guaranteed succcessful are a tad severe and there’s a slight chance of a slightly detrimental outcome.
Good luck in whatever option you choose but a real man wouldn’t go to the vet.

Frontline does the trick on our little bundle of neurotic misery. Then again, he grows and sheds hair so fast that fleas have nothing permanent to hold onto.

raw garlic - only a small amount (bout 1/3 of a clove at a time) mixed in with his food and only give 3 times a week. The breeder who I got my dog from swears by it...I tried it and my dog has been flea-free ever since, (his breath honks though)!

Has she told you about Slags'r'Us Inc?

Every night he smells them mate.
They must stink or something.
There have been multiple scenes, believe me.
He's also fond of trying to take the odd deer out.
Greyhounds are not stupid, dead clever apparently, but the wanting to chase and kill stuff is impossible to get out of most of them.
Obviously, I've been a bit slow on the uptake here; is that THE greyhound.

Frontline deffo doesn't work in certain parts of the UK anymore mate, due to the little blighters building up an immunity - SUPER FLEAS.

I think we must have them......I’ve tried everything, the house is like a hospital, he gets fine combed a couple of times a day and thoroughly washed and dipped every two days.....I’m going to the vet.......either he sorts it or he can put me to sleep.......

My vet gave me - Endectrid.

It's in tubes same as Frontline.

You're supposed to do them once a month with it.

I've heard that the vet can give them an injection that works too.

The problem with fleas is that the eggs can lie dormant for months if not years, before hatching.

We pay £60 every 3 months for flea and worms straight off the vet.
Not something I want to mess about with.
I do the same thing with my dogs. Being in Florida, if your pet gets fleas, it's a big problem. Easier to make sure they don't. Also, the heartworm medicine is critical. Another issue that, for $20-25.00 a month, it's better to have the piece of mind that your pet is protected.
