Welcome back Wayne
Our Golden Retriever passed away last week, a wonderful dog with a real personality, anyway, we picked up another puppy, a cockapoo for my granddaughter. Of course the puppy is suffering from fleas and we are doing the usual washing, combing, flea killler stuff...

Obviously this post will make a few readers start itching and scratching.

But does anyone have any really good experiences of dog flea elimination........

Apple vinegar works well, plus put a mix of water/washing up liquid in a dish with a tea candle if theres any around the house

We pay £60 every 3 months for flea and worms straight off the vet.
Not something I want to mess about with.

Doesn't dish soap work? We did that with an elderly cat and it helped but alas, cats don't like baths, and she died of stress/heart failure within a week.

Hmmmmm......the puppy is fine in water, really relaxed, we’ve got him free at the moment but I’m just looking for a consistent solution....

I’m taking him the vet this week for his second shot so will probably have a chat. Our old dog never suffered from them so hence the request.....
