I got a PS5 recently but mainly play stupid games that could probably run on a PS3
PS3 is backward compatible but the others are not some new games I want are avaiable on both 4 and 5 but keep getting told to bin 5 .........confused
I got myself a PS5 over Christmas, though I havent played it too much id definitely suggest to buy one over the PS4. Im currently playing Gran Turismo 7. The graphics are amazing

Depends on how much you can pick each one up. If you can get a ps4 for under half the price then it's worth considering, especially seeing new titles are also released on that.
If the price difference doesn't make it a no brainer, if you get a ps5 you will be future proofing for that bit longer, given we are already well into the second half of the PS5's lifespan before the next gen consoles come out.

I got a PS5 for my daughter, she plays Red Dead Redemption 2 on it, but my thinking was if I am shelling out I might as well future proof it.
