PS Vita (out wednesday)

8-9 years is a long time between systems. Microsoft probably wants to get out of the gate before sony. The Xbox fell way behind the PS2 because the PS2 came out 1st. MS then stormed way ahead of Sony after bringing out the Xbox 360 before the PS3.

I've heard many conflicting reports. One of which said that the Xbox and PS4 was going to be revealed at E3 this year, but later on it was reported that Sony had no idea where these rumours had come from.

Rockstar Games in Edinburgh have already been recruiting for next-gen developers/programmers for the new consoles, so one or both of the consoles are definitely coming before the end of 2013.
 
Been playing on this for a couple of days now and really impressed with, not sure if i would spend £230 on it but as i swopped it for my 3ds i am made up, like having a top console (ie ps3 and 360) in the palm of your hands. The screen is stunning visually.
 
Maybe this is what RFUS means, but I play the PS3 for the boss graphics and the games with in depth context which I can try my best at and get in to. I play the DS to throw bananas at people from Go Karts and jump on Mushrooms with my Italian plumber mate. A portable but sh*tter PS3 doesn't really sound great.

Disagree, the graphics hardware in the Xbox and PS3 were outdated when they were released. There are massive improvements to be made with both consoles.
 
I'm in no hurry for the new Xbox or PS to be released. They'll probably be something like £400 when the first come out, so of course I'll have to wait for a year before I can justify buying one any way. I'm quite happy with my 360 at the moment regardless.
 
Wasted far too much money on PSP's in the past so chance of bothering with this one plus the price of games is insane from what i've seen so not for me tbh
